This poster was created in the Fall of 2022 with the intent to urge people to vote in the upcoming elections. As students we chose a topic that we were passionate about and then was tasked with creating a 18x24" poster to display the message. For my poster I chose the topic of women's rights and how the government was making decisions about women's bodies. I chose to illustrate a uterus being squeezed by a male hand with the cufflink marked with the word, SCOTUS. The illustration represents how women's rights are slowly being taken away and in order for things to change we, as women must vote. I illustrated this piece on paper and then scanned it in Adobe Illustrator, where I colored it.
